Body Weight Workouts - Series 1, Week 2, Day 1

WORK:
50 Walking Lunge Steps
25 Spider Man Lunge Steps
15 Cobra Push-Ups

WOD:
Rest Day

POST:
3 Rounds of:
12 reps right leg standing high-kicks
60 Seconds Squat-Bridge
12 reps left leg standing high-kicks
12 reps Samson Stretch

then:
Light Run - 2 miles

  1. How do you do a squat-bridge?

  2. I will post a video showing it as well, but for a description:

    Step 1) Drop to the bottom of the Air Squat position and hold

    Step 2) With the palms of your hands together, insert your elbows INSIDE your knees, "bridging" your knees with your arms.

    Step 3) Push outward until your forearms are parallel with the ground; hold for the designated time.

  3. Was not sure on squat bridge whether to hold at parallel like a wall sit or to drop into hole for a better stretch. Being a rest day, I chose the latter.

    2 miles light jog = 18:53.

    Wife took day off due to illness.
